India and Angola signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during President Droupadi Murmu’s state visit to Angola from November 8–11, 2025, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian president to the country. Key agreements focused on fisheries, aquaculture, marine resources, and consular cooperation. Leaders of both nations discussed trade, energy, infrastructure, defence, agriculture, and technology partnerships, emphasizing sustainable development and diplomatic ties. Angola also welcomed India-led global initiatives. The visit included a ceremonial 21-gun salute and participation in Angola’s 50th Independence anniversary celebrations.
