The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi, hosted an international roundtable on “Exploring and Translating Genomic Evidence on SARS-CoV-2 for Public Health Response.” The event brought together leading Indian and Italian scientists to strengthen global cooperation in pandemic preparedness. Experts emphasized data-driven collaboration to tackle future outbreaks. ICGEB Director-General Prof. Lawrence Banks highlighted India–Italy partnership in genomic surveillance.
