  • Paris Paralympics 2024 Harvinder Singh created history by winning the gold medal in the men's individual archery recurve open final. 
  • Became the first archer from the India to win a gold medal in the Paralympics or Olympics. After this, in the final of men's club throw F-51, Dharamvir won the gold medal with a throw of 34.92 meters breaking the Asian record.
  • Pranav Surma won the silver medal by throwing 34.59 meters in the same event. Earlier in the day, world champion Sachin Sarjerao Khilari won the silver medal in the men's shot put F-46 category with an Asian record throw of 16.32 meters.
