Despite some progress, current efforts fall short of the Global Methane Pledge to cut emissions 30% below 2020 levels. The report emphasizes urgent global action across energy, agriculture, and waste sectors, stronger enforcement, transparency, and international cooperation to achieve critical climate and health benefits.
