The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has approved a landmark One-Stop Travel System to streamline travel across its six member nations. Beginning December 2025, the UAE and Bahrain will pilot the initiative, enabling citizens to complete immigration, customs, and security checks at a single pre-departure point. Passengers will then exit airports without further inspections. Supported by a unified digital platform, the system will later expand to other GCC states, complementing plans for a Unified Tourist Visa and a regional rail network by 2030.
