· Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been awarded the SDG Pragati Award by the United Nations-sponsored Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) for Bangladesh's steady progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
· Development Economist Jeffrey Sachs lauded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for leading the SDG campaign even during the COVID 19 pandemic.
· SDSN was established in 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary General led by development economist Jeffrey Sachs, SDSN seeks to mobilize global scientific and technical expertise to promote practical solutions for sustainable development.
