The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Gates Foundation, has launched the Maha MedTech Mission to strengthen India’s medical technology ecosystem. The initiative aims to accelerate innovation, reduce dependence on costly imports, and promote affordable, high-quality healthcare solutions. With milestone-linked funding of ₹5–25 crore per project, the mission will support academia, startups, MSMEs, and industry collaborations developing impactful MedTech innovations aligned with national health priorities.
