Saurav Ghosal becomes the first Indian to win Malaysian Open

Squash star Saurav Ghosal made history by becoming the first Indian to win the Malaysian Open Championships after defeating Miguel Rodriguez in the men's singles final.
Sourav defeated the top seed Colombian 11-7, 11-8, 13-11 in the final. With this win, 35-year-old Sourav has become the first Indian to win the Malaysian Open title.
Malaysia's Aifa Azman, on the other side, has won the women's singles title at the 2021 Malaysian Open squash championships.

The Malaysia Open is a badminton tournament that has been held annually since 1937.
