Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation of the Sharda river corridor at Tanakpur to boost tourism, infrastructure and employment in Champawat district. Spanning nearly 200 sq km, the project includes ghat redevelopment, drainage upgrades, a helipad and parking facilities. The corridor will promote adventure tourism and religious travel, linking heritage conservation with regional economic growth.
