US President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imports into the US, which will apply to all countries and aims to strengthen the US economy.
During his first term, Trump imposed a 25 per cent tariff on steel and a 10 per cent tariff on aluminum but later brought relief to several trading partners, including Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
