Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, inaugurated the National Urban Conclave 2025 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, with over 2,500 participants discussing sustainable urban development. He launched key initiatives: DRAP to remediate 214 high-impact dumpsites by 2026, KMU at NIUA for knowledge and capacity building under SBM–Urban, UiWIN to attract investments for sustainable urban projects, and the AMRUT anthem “Jal Hi Janani” promoting water conservation. Shri Lal emphasized inclusive, planned, and innovation-driven urban transformation for a future-ready Viksit Bharat @2047.
