Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the ‘National FPO Samagam 2025’ in New Delhi, attended by over 500 farmers, FPOs and agencies from 24 states and 140 districts. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized integrated farming and transforming farmers into entrepreneurs. The Minister announced that the government will soon introduce a Seed Act to ensure quality seeds and strict laws against fake seeds and pesticides. Outstanding FPOs were felicitated, and the event focused on strengthening farmer entrepreneurship and innovation.
