UAE Launches “TM Market Place,” Region’s First Digital Trademark Trading Platform

The UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism has launched “TM Market Place,” the region’s first digital platform for buying, selling, and licensing trademarks. Developed with the UAE Government Leaders Programme, the platform enables SMEs and family businesses to convert intellectual property into financial value. Economy Minister Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri inaugurated it in Abu Dhabi. Fully secure and transparent, the platform supports digital payments and monitors compliance under Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021. The initiative aims to strengthen the UAE’s IP sector, boost brand value, and drive a knowledge-based economy.
