· Golden Rock Railway Workshop (GOC), Tiruchirappalli has received the 22nd National Award for Excellence in Energy Management from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for adopting and implementing various energy conservation measures.
· GOC Workshop is the only workshop of Indian Railways which has received this award this year.
