Meta Launches New AI Model Muse Spark

Meta Platforms introduced Muse Spark, a lightweight yet powerful AI model, on April 9, 2026.
It is the first model from Meta’s specialised superintelligence team and is designed for efficiency and complex reasoning.
The model can handle queries in science, mathematics, and healthcare, and features a “Contemplating mode” with multiple AI agents.
Muse Spark will gradually replace Llama-based models across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp platforms.
