· Golden Rock Railway Workshop (GOC), Tiruchirappalli has received the 22nd National Award for Excellence in Energy Management from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for adopting and implementing various energy conservation measures.
· GOC Workshop is the only workshop of Indian Railways which has received this award this year.
The European Parliament has given its final approval to a regulation enabling the EU to ban the sale, import, and export of products made with forced labor, with investigations into suspected cases and withdrawal of proven products from the market.
