  • Switzerland has decided to close its bilateral development programs in Bangladesh, Albania, and Zambia by 2028 due to cuts in foreign aid. 
  • The Swiss Parliament has reduced the international cooperation budget for 2025 by CHF 110 million ($121 million) and cut CHF 321 million from the financial plan for 2026-2028, which will affect bilateral, economic, and multilateral cooperation.
