Indian shooter Sift Kaur Samra, a world record holder and Asian Games gold medallist, secured a bronze medal in the 50m rifle 3-position event at the Shooting World Cup in Munich. She qualified with a top score of 592 and overcame the USA’s Sagen Maddalena to reach the podium. This marks her second medal this season, having earlier won gold in Buenos Aires. Norway's Jeanette Duestad claimed the gold. Among Indian men, Kiran Jadhav came closest to a medal in the air rifle event, missing the final by just 0.1 point. China leads the overall medal tally.
