Shafali Verma Appointed Brand Ambassador of Haryana State Commission for Women

Indian cricketer Shafali Verma has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Haryana State Commission for Women following her stellar performance in India’s World Cup victory. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini felicitated her at her residence, presenting a shawl, a ₹1.50 crore cheque, and a ‘Grade A’ sports gradation certificate. Shafali, who scored 87 runs and took 2 wickets in the World Cup final against South Africa, was praised for inspiring young athletes and promoting women’s empowerment across the state.
