Category : Sports Published on: November 19 2025
Ravindra Jadeja created history by becoming only the second Indian and fourth cricketer in the world to complete the rare double of 4000 Test runs and 300 wickets. The 36-year-old all-rounder achieved the feat during the India–South Africa Test at Eden Gardens while playing his 88th match, becoming the second fastest after Ian Botham. Jadeja, who already has over 338 wickets and averages above 38 with the bat, now joins Kapil Dev, Ian Botham and Daniel Vettori in this elite group—further cementing his status as one of modern cricket’s finest all-rounders.
