Recently Railways has announced the launch of 'Gajraj System'.
This system will be started to prevent the death of elephants on the tracks.
Railways will install this system in Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.
It is in these states that elephants die the most due to trains.
This system will be installed over a length of 700 kilometers.
This system was implemented on a 150 km stretch in Assam last year and has proved quite beneficial.
