India and the US strengthened their strategic partnership with agreements on energy, nuclear technology, defense, and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor during PM Modi’s visit to the US.
Both leaders have set a goal to increase bilateral trade to over 500 billion dollars by 2030.
Trump announced that the U.S. will sell billions of dollars worth of defense equipment to India and that efforts will also be made to provide India with F-35 stealth fighter jets in the future.
