· The National Teacher Award 2021 was conferred by President Ram Nath Kovind on September 5, 2021. President Kovind presented awards to 44 best teachers of the country for their dedicated contribution.
· The award is given to those who improve the quality of education for students and inspire, enrich their lives.
· This year, the education ministry released the names of 44 teachers who will be conferred with the National Teacher Award. Out of total 44 teachers, 9 awardees are women.
