Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹1,219 crore in Kevadia (now Ekta Nagar), Gujarat, on the eve of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary. The projects include the Birsa Munda Bhavan, residential complexes for GSEC and SSNNL employees, and a bonsai garden. PM Modi also flagged off a fleet of electric buses, promoting green mobility and sustainable tourism. Additionally, he released a commemorative coin and postal stamp honoring Sardar Patel’s legacy, symbolizing unity, progress, and sustainable development.
