Kurukshetra echoed with reverence as Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He released a special commemorative postage stamp and coin, while the Haryana government launched a coffee-table book dedicated to the Guru. PM Modi also inaugurated the Panchjanya Memorial and Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra, strengthening the region’s spiritual and cultural legacy. At Brahmasarovar, he performed a grand maha aarti during the International Gita Mahotsav 2025. In his address, the Prime Minister hailed Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice as a timeless symbol of faith, justice, and India’s inclusive civilisational ethos.
