OpenAI has appointed Indian-origin executive Arvind KC as its Chief People Officer to strengthen leadership amid rising global competition for AI talent. He will oversee hiring, workforce strategy and organisational development during the company’s expansion phase. KC will report to Chief Strategy Officer Jason Kwon and work closely with Fidji Simo, CEO of Applications.
Previously associated with Roblox, Google, Palantir and Meta, KC brings experience in scaling high-growth tech firms. His appointment highlights OpenAI’s focus on structured talent management while sustaining innovation in a competitive AI landscape.
