Delhi is set to get a new 5-kilometer tunnel designed to alleviate traffic congestion, connecting Shiv Murti-Mahipalpur (near Dwarka Expressway) to Nelson Mandela Road in Vasant Kunj. This tunnel project is part of a larger ₹24,000 crore infrastructure development plan for Delhi, which was recently approved after discussions with Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.
