Indian javelin ace and two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra secured the gold medal at the Ostrava Golden Spike athletics meet in the Czech Republic with a top throw of 85.29 metres. The 27-year-old outperformed South Africa’s Douw Smit (84.12m) and Granada’s Anderson Peters (83.63m) in the high-stakes international competition.
