The Ministry of Defence signed a ₹1220.12 crore contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for 149 Software Defined Radios to enhance secure communication for the Indian Coast Guard.
These advanced radios will strengthen maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, and joint operations with the Indian Navy through high-speed data and secure voice communication.
