South African opener Matthew Breetzke became the first player to score 150+ runs on his ODI debut, scoring 150 runs off 148 balls.
Before this, the record for the most runs on an ODI debut was held by D.L. Haynes of the West Indies (148 runs) in 1978, while for South Africa, the record was held by Colin Ingram (124 runs, 2010).
