  • Star Indian pistol shooter Manu Bhaker was chosen as BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year on Monday for her outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics. 
  • Manu was among the five nominees for this award, which included golfer Aditi Ashok, para shooter Avani Lekhara, Indian women's cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, and wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who were honored for their exceptional contributions to Indian sports.
