The Korean neo-noir crime drama Project Y, directed by Lee Hwan, has won the “Best Film in Competition” award at the 10th London East Asia Film Festival (LEAFF) 2025. Starring Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo. Praised for its powerful female leads and intense storytelling, Project Y was earlier screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The film is set for release in South Korea soon, marking a strong global recognition for Asian neo-noir cinema.
