Under its Kanpur Metropolitan Development Vision – 2030, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced a 500-acre Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing park in Kanpur, involving ₹700 crore in investments. Developed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the initiative aims to establish Kanpur as a leading EV manufacturing hub, generating jobs and accelerating green mobility.
