Indonesia’s 23-year-old tennis star Janice Tjen made history by winning her maiden WTA Tour singles title at the Chennai Open 2025, becoming the first Indonesian in 23 years to achieve this feat. Rising from a ranking of around 500 to World No. 53, she also claimed her second WTA doubles title at the event. Guided by coach Christopher Bint, Janice credits her success to perseverance and hard work, inspiring young athletes across the world.
