A 1992-batch IPS officer, Kasi Reddy Venkata Rajendranath Reddy has been appointed as the Director-General of Police (DGP-Head of Police Force) for Andhra Pradesh.
He will replace D. Gautam Sawang.
He is the current Chief of Intelligence.
He is a 1992 batch IPS officer who served as the Commissioner of Police for Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.
He also served as a Drug Control Officer.
