The Indian Navy has assumed command of Combined Task Force 154, a multinational training unit under the Combined Maritime Forces, marking a major step in regional maritime cooperation. The change of command ceremony was held in Manama, Bahrain, under the leadership of Curt A Renshaw. Commodore Milind M Mokashi took charge to lead training and capacity-building initiatives for member nations. Established in 2023, CTF 154 strengthens maritime security through multinational exercises targeting piracy, trafficking, and regional threats.
