India celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) 2025 on 26 November at the historic Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan. President Droupadi Murmu presided over the event, which was attended by PM Narendra Modi, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union ministers, and MPs. The day marked the 76th anniversary of the Constitution’s adoption. Key activities included the reading of the Preamble, translation into nine more languages, commemorative releases, and nationwide programs under the theme "Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman".
The Supreme Court ruled menstrual health as a fundamental right under Article 21, mandating free sanitary facilities in all schools.
