The Indian Coast Guard conducted the 'Sagar Kavach' exercise on February 21-22, 2025, in the 158 km coastal area of West Bengal, aimed at strengthening coastal security and enhancing coordination among various agencies.
Several agencies participated in this exercise, including the Navy, BSF, CISF, and local police, testing security procedures to deal with threats such as kidnapping, smuggling, and IEDs.
