A 90-member contingent of the Indian Army, primarily from the Jammu & Kashmir Rifles, has departed to participate in the 8th edition of Exercise SHAKTI in France. Scheduled from June 18 to July 1, 2025, the joint military exercise at Camp Larzac aims to enhance tactical cooperation and interoperability with the French Army’s 13th Foreign Legion Half-Brigade. The biennial exercise focuses on joint training for high-intensity combat operations.
