India Urges Russia to Fast-Track Trade Approvals and Defence Deliveries

India has urged Russia to fast-track approvals for Indian establishments and expedite the registration of marine, agriculture and pharmaceutical products to boost bilateral trade. New Delhi has asked Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (FSVPS) to speed up regulatory clearances and create a time-bound system for pharma registrations, supporting the goal of achieving $100 billion trade by 2030. India has also requested quicker delivery of key defence equipment, including the S-400 air defence system and other critical military hardware.
