India’s First Port Deploys Advanced Anti-Drone Security System

V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has become the first port in India to implement an advanced Anti-Drone System to strengthen maritime security. The RF and radar-based system offers 360-degree coverage and can detect and neutralise unauthorised drones within a 5 km range. Developed as an indigenous solution and executed with Central Electronics Limited, the project will be completed within three months, boosting protection of critical port infrastructure.
