A statue of Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar was unveiled in Cebu, Philippines, on February 16, 2025, marking the 75th anniversary of India-Philippines diplomatic relations.
Thiruvalluvar's famous work, Thirukkural, consists of 1,330 couplets divided into 133 sections, focusing on virtue (dharma), wealth (artha), and love (kama).
