India observed Constitution Day with a landmark gesture as a bust of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was unveiled at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the installation as a profound tribute to the principal architect of India’s Constitution. The ceremony, led by India’s Ambassador Vishal V Sharma, highlighted Ambedkar’s global intellectual legacy and his alignment with UNESCO’s values of education, equality, and justice. The event also reaffirmed India’s commitment to constitutional ideals and inclusive development.
