On June 12, 2025, the Directorate General of Training (DGT), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, teamed up with Shell India to launch a pioneering training initiative focusing on green energy and electric vehicle (EV) skills. Delivered through the Edunet Foundation, the program will equip students and faculty across select ITIs and NSTIs in Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka with skills crucial for sustainable future employment.
