Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has launched the ₹1 lakh crore ‘Anusandhan’ Fund, a landmark initiative to accelerate India’s deeptech startup ecosystem and promote indigenous research and innovation. Announced at the TiEcon Delhi-NCR 2025 conference, the fund aims to strengthen sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, robotics and advanced manufacturing. It will support early-stage startups focusing on research, product development and disruptive technologies, thereby reducing India’s dependence on foreign technologies.
India will establish four advanced quantum fabrication hubs worth ₹720 crore to boost quantum innovation and strengthen technological self-reliance.
