The fourth round of India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations began in Auckland, New Zealand. The discussions aim to advance a balanced and comprehensive trade partnership between the two nations. Building on the vision shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon during their March 2025 meeting, the FTA focuses on key areas such as Trade in Goods, Trade in Services, and Rules of Origin. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to creating an inclusive, sustainable, and mutually beneficial trade framework, promoting economic growth and shared prosperity.
