India and Canada Strengthen Economic Partnership at 7th Ministerial Dialogue

India and Canada held the 7th Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment in New Delhi, co-chaired by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Canada’s Minister Maninder Sidhu. The meeting aimed to boost bilateral trade and investment, aligned with the October 2025 Joint Statement on renewing partnership momentum. Both sides highlighted the role of the 2.9 million-strong Indian diaspora and rising investments. Key discussions covered nutritional security, supply chain resilience, health cooperation, and market access. The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to advancing a stronger, future-ready economic partnership.
