  • India and Argentina signed an important agreement on February 19, 2025. 
  • The main objective of this agreement is to enhance deep partnership in the exploration of minerals, especially lithium, and resource development. 
  • The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed in the presence of Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy and Raúl Alejandro Jalil, the Governor of Catamarca, Argentina.
