The Indian Coast Guard commissioned “Adamya,” the first of eight Fast Patrol Vessels built by Goa Shipyard Limited, on 26 June 2025. Featuring advanced controllable-pitch propellers (CPP) and indigenous gearboxes, the vessel enhances maneuverability and operational flexibility for missions such as coastal security, search-and-rescue, and anti-smuggling.
