HDFC Bank has regained its position as India’s most valuable brand in 2025, surpassing TCS, according to the Kantar BrandZ report. With a brand value of $44.9 billion up 377% since 2014 the bank’s rise is driven by consumer-focused innovation, including its Vigil Aunty safety persona and rapid digital auto loan services after merging with HDFC Ltd. India’s top 100 brands now total $523.5 billion. New entrants like UltraTech Cement and Tata’s Westside and Zudio also made strong debuts, while Zomato emerged as the fastest-growing brand.
